If you choose to play this game like Call of Duty (run straight into the middle of things, fling damage in all directions, get killed from a hit to the back of the head) you’re gonna have a Bad Time (see what I did there?). It is far closer to something like a really, really fast board game, or even rock/paper/scissors played with swords and axes, than it is to a game like Call of Duty. Chivalry 2, despite its similarities, is not an FPS. During my time, one thing has become clear: Chivalry 2 is unlike any other competitive online game that I’ve ever played. Including the three multiplayer betas that Torn Banner ran before the games release, I’ve done about 40-odd hours of hacking ‘n’ slashing my way through peasants and knights alike online.
